Urbanism work done with Olnasa stone, receives several awards

The historic center of Vitoria needed to improve its accessibility, due to complicated topography and its narrow medieval streets.

In this work, paving Azul Pirineos, finish rustic hammered, was used combined with split sett and paving Gris Moncayo. A stairway was also built in Azul Pirineo rustic hammered. During manufacturing, it was very important the previous selection process of natural stone to ensure a large proportion of ocher area on the pieces.


Thanks to the qualities of the material, it has created a space perfectly adapted to the environment ensuring the safe and comfortable pedestrian movement even on rainy days since the roughness of these materials prevents slippage.

Therefore, he has received several awards, including the "Architettura Orizzontale" organized by the University of Ferrara (Italy), which aims to highlight the best development in the internations works executed with natural stone, FAD Ciudad y Paisaje 2015 , or the Premio COAVN 2016 in the category of Urbanism.
